Flexible Learning

Students may miss the equivalent of one weekend. If more time is needed, you can schedule a make up session with the lead trainer. Students are encouraged to use the online content to help them study at home and to reinforce in-class learning.

300 YTT Austin

Our Training is Registered With Yoga Alliance HERE.

My Vinyasa Practice’s 300 hour YTT is accredited through Yoga Alliance under Yoga Alliance ID 206534. Register for individual modules or the entire training. Some modules in our 300 hour YTT in Austin contain the word “therapy” or “recovery” and these trainings do not fall in compliance with Yoga Alliance. The yoga therapy components of our course(s) are based on standards set forth by the International Association of Yoga Therapy, and are not derived from our status as an RYS® with Yoga Alliance Registry. This training will not satisfy the requirements to be a Yoga Therapist. Individuals interested in becoming a C-IAYT Yoga Therapist must complete additional training. Subtle Bodies | 40 hours

Understanding the subtle bodies involves recognizing the energetic sheaths and pathways that exist within our physical form. These energies manifest in our physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual experiences.

Our 40-hour Subtle Bodies training delves deep into the Panchamaya Kosha system, providing insight into energetic mechanisms from both Eastern and Western perspectives.

In this training, you will:

    • Gain a profound understanding of the energetic mechanisms within the body, explored through Eastern and Western viewpoints.
    • Acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the Panchamaya Kosha system.
    • Learn how the Nadi system and meridians intertwine and overlay one another.
    • Explore the Western perspective on energetic pathways and their connection to the fascial and interstitial systems of the body.

Advanced Anatomy | 40 hours

Deepen your understanding of the anatomy behind asana and advanced postures in this immersive 40-hour training. Introduction to Ayurveda | 40 hours

Explore the foundational principles of Ayurveda, including the tattvas, doshas, and bodily tissues. This training will guide you through essential self-care practices designed to support both physical and mental well-being during the changing seasons.

This training provides 40 hours toward My Vinyasa Practice’s 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training. While students will gain a deep understanding of Ayurvedic principles, certification as an Ayurvedic Practitioner requires additional training beyond the scope of this course.

Adaptive Yoga | 40 hours

Explore the art and principles of Adaptive Yoga, designed to accommodate individuals with limited range of motion or those needing additional support in their practice. This 40-hour training will equip you with the skills and confidence to integrate Adaptive Yoga into your teaching, catering to a wide range of needs.

In this course, you will:

  • Learn to adapt yoga asanas for practitioners of all body types, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.
  • Master the fundamentals of using chairs and other props such as blocks, straps, pillows, and bolsters to support and stabilize practice.

Participants will be guided through the system of moving through the various energetic layers of the body, facilitating the release of tension and stored trauma stemming from intellectual, emotional, and physical experiences.
